Hopefully right — 11 lbs certainly doesn’t sound like you’ve deleted much of anything.

Can’t say I’m a huge Lewis fan, but this is cool. Well done, gents.
Yes — I can’t stop buying Teslas!
I’m one of those. It sounds like it’s 11 pounds lighter... That doesn’t sound like a big win. The seats look cool, though.
200SX, but it was a Datsun at that point, not a Nissan.
This is the type of post that really makes Jalopnik what it is. Thank you, Vanagon fan.
Not sure how silly it is compared to $2MM for the actual car. At least with the model you don’t have to drive around looking like a tw...twerp. And you save almost $2MM. Seems like a win.
Best deal I ever negotiated was in one of those situations. I was ready to punch someone. Plus, the big problem was that my trade in was such a POS they didn’t even want it. EVEN SO, they didn’t want to let me leave. Finally agreed on a good price on the model I wanted, but one with a slight chip on the hood. …
But no M4 GC — you have to draw the line somewhere. But, why there when you could have drawn it through any or all of the GTs? I think the M4 GC would be the sweet spot of that 3/4 line up.
That was really good. I mean, I love you guys and all but really had my doubts about you guys jumping into such a different format. I’m quite impressed. You just need to look at the Chris Evans era Top Gears to see that even a very talented, generously budgeted team can totally get it wrong. Congratulations!
Austin removed a lot of these vehicles from service, supposedly had them repaired only to have more complaints of leaks. It seems really surprising that Ford has not been more aggressive about solving this problem. They must be jealous of all the attention GM got with their ignition scandal.
What’s the quality like on these knock-offs? Is there really a danger of cross-shopping just based on looks? Seems like they really target different market segments, though I don’t blame LR for being pissed.
It’s pretty sketchy, too. It looks pretty narrow with the walls right up to the track — especially that left right along the inside wall in front of the haulers — yikes. I mean, if the racing’s good, ok, but it’s a pretty weird (and ugly) looking track.
I had a pretty kick-ass Yamaha saxophone in middle school.
Come on, I enjoyed the race. Admittedly it would have been unwatchable without a dvr, but with one pretty good. It would have been epic to see Jr get the win after barely avoiding the big one, but still not too bad.
Too soon for a Kubica reference? I’m guessing yes, but...
Those comments by the crew chief are classic. Did the bad man hit your bumper? “Are you crying? There’s no crying in baseball.”
Haha. Wreckers or Checkers — definitely his style. He was close to piling it up today, too, but pulled it off. Looking at the track record of a lot of the top cup guys today, I don’t feel like that disqualifies you as long as you have the skills to win.
Don’t know why Parker Kligerman doesn’t have a an Xfinity ride. Definitely not afraid to keep his foot in it. I’m biased because he comes on Jalopnik to comment, but the point stands.
