Here's a couple of South Texas rednecks no get your rump shaking on a Saturday night.

Look, you said "regardless of age" in your article, and then referenced his age (and MPG) in you response to my refutation, which is a bit of goalpost moving - as is discounting his offensive efficiency and focusing on his defensive stats in continuing the notion that he is accurately described as "great." I

OK, how about this one? Or maybe just explain what exactly qualifies KG as "great?" His intensity? His moxie? His leadership? Or any other in the long list of quaint intangibles used to belie the story the numbers tell us is true?

Maybe that in that, and just about all other advanced metrics, place him in the bottom half of the league at his position? Closer to "below average" than "great?"

Garnett, who's still a great player, regardless of age...

Shorts with pockets are dangerous, and outlawed in every association I've ever played in. Such a weird comparison, unless you're making a joke I don't get?

"You let go!"

Only Hakeem, Duncan, Dirk, Isiah, and the 2004 Pistons have ever won a post-1980 NBA championship without a complementary player who was a HOFer playing at at least an All-Star level.

Don't forget Don Baylor Alan Trammell and Matt Williams! It was like the '87 All Star game out there.

This is the dumbest thing anyone has ever said on Deadspin.

Or just provided the basic background information contained in just about every article on Deadspin ever.
