i wish we ever got bologna week on lifehacker dot com

mom still subs more “green tube cheese” in than breadcrumb for meatballs, because it binds just as well thanks to whatever physical properties make up green tube cheese.

no matter how mcuh $30/lb parm i buy and use, i will never be able to make meatballs as good as she does. damn you to hell, green tube cheese.

I’m old. I like physical media and keeping my games relegated to consoles, my phone is a tool for organization and photography.

Plus, I paid out the yang to get the BotW collector’s edition with the case so.. I’m playing EVERYTHING on Switch.

The demo of DQ11 S: DE is amazing. I put about 7 hours into it, trying to min/max IN A DEMO and learn everything I could about combat: weaknesses, strengths, weapon types, elements, etc. It’s a whole new world for me, and I can’t wait to explore the full version.

Reminded me of this book that mom had (now mine). We had what can best be described as a small library, studded with these. And it was such a good book, how could the game be bad!

Bound to get lost in the grays, but this is the car that Swayze drove in Road House.

First NES game I ever rented. I was 6 years old and fell in love with the box art, thanks largely in part due to the thousands of fantasy novels my parents had collected.

The cart didn’t work, despite blowing all the air my young lungs could muster, and I never got to play it.

It’s been roughly 30 years since that 3

“Ghosted by Kim from the National Onion Association” is on my resume

I’ve tried ceramic knives which “don’t damage the cells nearly as much as steel”, and.. that’s bullshit. Refrigerating them after they’re peeled, but not cut? Makes my fridge stink. Goggles? Well, you know.

I still never got a response from Kim at the national onion association re: why it works, but wearing a surgical

For comparison, I’ve been on/off in my BotW completion playthrough since spring of last year, and I just saw the Akkala Spana very large bridge spanning a canyonfor the first time while korok hunting. There is just so, so much to see in this game. I don’t know that I could ever have 100% completion and feel

BotW: finish my master mode playthrough (mostly korok hunting and champion DLC left)
Link’s Awakening
DQ 11 S
SoM Collection
Pokemon S&S
Ni No Kuni re-release on Switch

I’ve got roughly 4000 hours of games before Animal Crossing and who knows what else in the spring. Gonna be a beautiful backlog.

Just let me have the stock wheels, so I can attempt to sell off the aftermarkets and cover the cost of the almost assured paint damage.

Was “Cracking open a cold one” not available?

Or when you live in the New England hellscape, you buy a proofing box.

I love this thing. It’s been worth every penny, because now I don’t have to attempt to create a humid environment in my oven (nope) or microwave (double nope) with probe thermometers and boiling water for hours at a time.

Not everyone needs this.

A dryer lint rat-wich is actually made WORSE by the addition of mayonnaise.

the only thing i can think of that would fit lower cost with the same level of lean and density would be an eye of round, but that’s gonna be a big roast.

i really only make this at christmas, but i shop the reduced section for the smaller tenderloins that work just as well here. It’s Christmas, everyone is loaded and
