The problem is that the $17k number is misleading, as it only gets you the engine “capable” of 900 hp. The engine is not actually making that if you only give them $17k. They charge over $4k on top of that for a turbo kit that maxes out at 750 hp and likely requires all the other “add ons” just to make that.

The 17k looks like it only gets you an engine *capable* of making 900 hp, not a 900 hp engine out of the box. They charge an extra $4429 for a turbo kit that is rated to 750 hp, which probably requires all of the extra add ons to even hit that number (Which would now bring you up to $25467). Who knows how much it

To be fair Jason, I don’t think these ratings are tested to the same standard. I would imagine that there is a much larger safety factor baked into the ratings for the F-150 than with the Mahindra.

I noticed this immediately after reading it, apparently the author does not know former from latter.

Such painstaking work and they put the 710 cap on upside down!

I just posted this same thing ha. But yes it is doctored he said so in the article comments.

I thought Andrew already had that plate in Cali?

I like that NBLS limited edition SSR model you got there Torch!

They are actually Grand Cherokee headlamps.

I’ve seen LT4's that make close to 800 WHP on stock injectors with e85, so I don’t think they are a problem. The fuel pump however does need to be upgrade to go much higher than where Robb is at.

So true, their cars are always slower than you would expect for any given HP.

Going out on a limb here, but I’m pretty sure that’s a lambo.

I recently had one for about a month and a half before selling it and it was total garbage. Sloppy shifter, crap suspension that clunked over every bump and got upset during mid corner ones, light and loose on center steering, sticky throttle, creaks and rattles, shot hatch struts, peeling paint, cracked leather,

I thought the same thing when I was in high school and a friend of mine got a brand new one. However I recently had a complete change of mind after buying one about a month and a half ago. I picked one up for $2k even with only 99k on it. It was a V6 5 speed. I almost didn’t buy it because I was so unimpressed with

Pretty sure Tom’s suggestion is just about perfect for this guy. Could easily fit a couple bikes in and the cargo area is pretty rugged.

Apparently from what I’ve read it actually is going to be a completely new engine architecture, so it really is going to be “all new”. Supposed to be the first of a new engine family.

Im sure it will be based on the FB architecture, so “all new” as in they’ve never had a 2.4L version of the FB.

They are putting an all new 2.4 DI turbo flat 4 in this, which is likely going to be the basis for the next STI engine.

Its going to be a 2.4 DI turbo flat 4, not sure why Tom left that out. Im guessing they will probably use this new engine in some form in the next STI as well.
