Because Alaska has resources. Should have been Cuba. We could buy Cuba for cheap.

Yeah, I was just wondering if Jezebel was going to announce a sub-blog called Adequate Woman.

And just who decides what credentials you have to have to be a "Journalist" to the FAA? Would Darren Orf or Ashley Feinberg or Will Smith (the one on Tested) qualify?

Damn, I have to admit that looks cool as hell.

"The good news? They won't kill you unless you're prettier/smarter/etc than they are."

Ignoring variables does not eliminate them. When you are doing a study about human behavior that both genders engage in and you ignore the female half the study automatically becomes gender biased. The study actually points this out but as per usual the Gizmodo article glosses over this.

"However, self-objectification plays a larger role with women, as would be expected."

Wait, where are the women in this study. Did they just bypass 51% of the population??

I just walk around the truck/car rental before and after and take photos on my phone. They are geo/time stamped automatically. I also get the interior and the mileage reading.

Gravity travels at light speed. Not theoretical anymore. Gravity Probe B pretty much proved it.

This denial means nothing.

I know what the problem is...

Yep, I had a Plextor drive like that. It could read at 4x speed(wicked fast at the time). The computer I had just built was one of the first Pentium 90 (OCd to 100MgHz!) and I had a 1 Gig SCSI HD. It was bleeding edge technology. As in my neck was bleeding from cutting my throat with the cost of super new tech that

How about some old school terms?

I got my RAT9 out of the first batch. Lots of battery problems with the first couple of runs. Also from forum posts I learned (to late) not to leave the spare battery in the charger. It would overcharge the battery and shorten the lifespan.

I revived my MMO7 by taking it apart and dabbing a bit of lithium grease on the moving/rubbing parts with a toothpick. If you have sticking buttons or a scroll wheel that doesn't turn correctly you might want to give it a try... nothing to loose, right?

3d printing already works - with restrictions. But yeah, popular media has hyped it to the point that everyone is expecting a Star Trek replicator in their closet.

I've been playing around with HEVC and that 50% data rate savings is a little overblown. It's more like 30-40% in real world video scenes. I know "they" say 4K uses 2x the data but in my experience it's closer to 3x to eliminate artifacing.
