A) Did he win?

No, the best BMW 6 was the M88/S38B36. There are multiple 1000+hp E34 M5s still rolling around Europe. S54 rod bearings in comparison were like warm butter.

How about a Lexus SC430 with a professionally done JDM 2JZ swapped by Drag International? Miles are high, but reliable, 4 seats, automatic and very non-usual for $16,000.

I have 140k miles on my daily 535ix Touring(N54), with 40k on Vargas turbos and 480whp. People mention catalytics and exhausts, but the exit choke point on those is the stock turbo. Stock exhaust (3" pipe) is losing maybe -10hp at 600hp. That’s less than the variance between dyno runs. Also, if you blow up an N54,

This one was on display at the Daytona 24. The amount of carbon fiber trim almost made it look like an aftermarket kit. Even surrounded by supercars, this one looks properly bonkers.

Dear Lord Baby Jesus, please find a way to homologate this car into IMSA GTLM (or GTD if it be thy will)...

Still the best key...

The current generation of F1 cars have already proven you don’t need ‘the noise’. That being said, attending a Formula E race wasn’t much different than the local RC club events.  It was uninspiring.  I have a feeling I’d watch anything that sounded like the 3.0 V10.

Your friend’s track you say?  That’s way better than the neighborhood kid with the pool and cable...

Lotus 30 and the Miura both way better looking...

For $4,000 more you can get this turbo with a clutch?

Saw this one a couple of days ago on Alligator Alley with Michigan plates I think. It looks great in person..
