The team was on the cusp of closing it’s doors as they did not have a buyer. Jenson Button would likely have been out of F1 as he had one race win to that point, and was not in demand at all. Reubens likely would not have found an F1 drive at that point either. Prior to joining Honda in 2008, Ross Brawn was fly-fishing

I was going to say that Jackie Stewart was the coolest F1 driver ever, but then I saw this picture.  Tyrrell was the coolest team though hands down.

If you don’t want a $35,000 M5, buy a $25,000 M5(or CTS-V or E63) and bury the other $10,000 in your back yard for when it breaks. Or hide $7,000 and buy a $3,000 Miata for when it breaks.

Sorry, I thought we were talking about in-line 6's. My bad.

I think the Brawn GP story would make an epic racing movie if done correctly.

Counterpoint - S38. There are 1000 hp and 1200 hp S38's all over Europe stuffed in everything imaginable. We never saw a significant tuner culture on them because of the small amount of E34 M5s that made it over.

The only good thing that came from Drive...

I witnessed a driver and two girls in a yellow Carrera GT downtown in Montreal the night before the 2007 GP. Was a tight fit tho...

I can’t wait until someone develops a flat W-16.

You tell me, your link even says it’s a Flat-12. There is no V configuration. Do you think a 911 is a V6?

Close, but not a V12

You forgot Dubopnik Life...

The FIA create the rules for the season, and the stewards at each race are there to enforce those rules. The FIA representatives did not feel that Renault contravened the rules set for this year. If they had, they could have potentially faced disqualification from multiple prior races in addition to this one. The stewa

If you are a local resident, you know that this protest is laughable. This venue is probably the best possible location in S. Florida to host the race. Multiple highway access, parking and hotels are abundant and it hosts dozens of high capacity events every year. 2010 Superbowl was ~74,000 people, and the whole week

Indianapolis was a fantastic venue FWIW. You could see almost half the track from F1 turn 1, and 2004 and 2006 specifically were both epic races. Also, ticket prices weren’t absurd.  I wish they’d go back there honestly.

I can’t recall seeing a highside this violent in a very long time. He was lucky not to be caught under when the bike came back down...

Looks to be a Carrera 4S from the overhead shots. Maybe they’ll wreck it during the movie and have to bring back the 964 Turbo from the back of the garage.
