@FutureCarDesigner: Hahaha, indeed!
Blunder not doing pairs of round lights at the front. Unlike Clarkson and co, I thought the S-type was a very nice looking car. Round, paired headlights are a Jag design hallmark.
Did anyone feel their ToS was a little too loose with protecting the sanctity of your files?
@kftgr: An interesting set of concerns. I'm gonna pass them on to the Fonolo devs.
Hahahaha, indeed, wtf.
@nighttimestereo: Well the idea is once you select the spot on the tree you want to dial too, Fonolo will make the call and hold the line. When a rep answers, Fonolo will call your phone so the your airtime is used exclusively for arguing about your incorrect 300 dollar phone bill.
ToI is such a shite publication. I read it everyday, nevertheless, since it has the best layout.
Pretty nice, but my buddy works for a startup in Toronto called Fonolo. Their service is outstanding, overdue and well implemented. If it takes off, which it should, I believe it will fundamentally change phone trees and waiting times for such.
@smalleyxb122: So conservation of momentum over KE. Lookee here, Jalopnik turned into Physics 101.
@the_engineer: I think it's just an energy equation. If so, impact speed to replicate 2 equally weighted cars going at 30mph should be 42.4mph. Close enough in the video.
@fodder650: Haha, nice!
@smalleyxb122: "No, indeed. If the 2 cars are of equal mass, and hit directly head on at 30, it replicates a head on with a wall at 30."
@amblito: Ah whoops, thinking about something else, heh. Jezza.
But then Gazza and co were never really good at maths were they.
Impact speed per video: 40mph.
Seems like a classic case of engineer-speak to describe a situation that can best be said using one word, namely, short circuit.
R8 or C6? Really? The R8 looks plain disproportionate from some angles. And the C6, well, I like French Funk, but in an entirely different way. No mention of a Zonda, or perhaps Mini?
@FЯeeMan: Ian Callum isn't it, the guy who did the latest Jag XK
@Sensai: Yeah Yuuguu doesnt quite look up to OSX standards, but it is dead simple.
