Aside from stance and perspective, both of which are exaggerated to the generally impossible in concept sketches, I think the real car is very close to the drawings. I think it's a return to the classis, understated good looks of the E38 7series.

I had Ubuntu dual boot on my macbook during the bootcamp beta. It was a nice system but nowhere near ready for prime-time when it comes to the average user. The looks could use a little sharpening up, I feel they are just a step behind XP. But the biggest issue was aesthetics and usability (which in turn rely quite a

Not ugly at all. That rear treatment just work and is unique.

@Rican5.0: Agreed. The rear light treatment is bizarre. Round lights in a squarish housing. WTF?

@eurodriver: Yes! You're right it is the M-technic. The mirrors are wrong for the M3 as well.

That aint no stock M3, the air dam is slightly different. Much better than the real deal I think but I've yet to see an M3 like such. Anyone else find so?

Old Pajeros, 80 to the 90s, were as legendary as Land Cruisers in the desert I lived in. Rugged, truck body, clumsy handling but invincible off-road. This new one looks like a city boy with soft skin and gelled hair. Yuck. Brink back the box!

My family had a Cressida many years ago, it was hewn out of a solid piece of granite. Absolutely unbreakable and yet unremarkable. Excellent aircon, yatch-like ride, whisper quiet. It really was the luxury car for those who couldn't get german and my Dad and myself loved it. Wasn a little fresher than the one pictured

Better reliability? But you can fix a Defender using nothing but a safety pin, just like AK's, which is why despite them being low-tech and from a bygone era, they're still the only proper military gear.

It sounds absolutely bonkers!

The reflecto' bar Porsches were always the best looking ones, that is, until now. That new tail light design is unnecessarily complex.

Heel-toeing at the beginning was tight! Vroom-vroom! I think it sounds very nice!

@EMPM, Esq.: Await the US incarnation of the Monaro, no?

I think the front end execution is better than the real thing minus the louvers, so there. Too bad it's rice.

Saw some sort of Can-Am (or other tadpole) on the drive to Montreal from Toronto. Pretty sweet.

Leopard only though, boo!

@Harlan: Mojo has a mac version. I've installed it but am all by my lonesome self :(

Looks and sounds astonishingly sedate. Incredible.

Vette chassis and some body work??? Or all new?
