This. I don't know any women like this, but I know several unattractive men who feel entitled to date very attractive women and I find them really fucking annoying. I imagine being around an unattractive woman who feels entitled to date an attractive man would be just as annoying.

Well, yes. When I have kids, they'll be my number one priority and whatever decisions I make regarding their education and safety will be putting them first. I'm not sacrificing their well-being for social ideals.

So people who like all music except country are huge zydeco and Argentinian pan-flute aficionados?

Me too ^^

Good thing you're a (very) strange anomaly, otherwise the human race wouldn't continue. But the human race is equipped to tolerate a number of biological leeches like yourself who neither pass on your line or take care of a child without a family, so it's cool.

Or they could leave it as it is because it's their vision and don't need to be inclusive of people they don't want to be inclusive of, just like how the creators of Duke Nukem didn't need to add or take away anything to be more inclusive to women who play games. The game has clearly done well enough without needing to

Yeah, geez. If I wanted men to pay me for my company on dates I would've become a escort. Getting men to pay for a first online date, when they don't know if you'll be a scammer or not, sets the expectation that you'll be a useless leech in the rest of the relationship too.

Games tell you exactly what you're getting for your in-app purchase. They're not verbally promising you anything.

If no one else finds the joke funny, it's not a joke.

What about .1 - .2% of individuals who were not born as definitively male or female, and are classified as intersex? What kind of lives should they lead?

This. I'll humor you if you tell me what you want to be called, but don't expect me to take you seriously.

But I identify and present as a dolphin. So I'm a dolphin. You must respect this and treat me as a dolphin.

I'm sorry that you think about workplace harassment as how much you can get away with.

You're right — co-workers are just co-workers, even if you're fond of some of them. You find out who's actually your friend after you stop working there and aren't forced to be around them.

No, one instance isn't sexual harassment. In our sexual harassment training, it specifically said that if someone checks someone else out or asks someone on a date, as long as they stop when told to stop, they've done nothing that can be legally penalized.

There was a LinkedIn comment that really made sense to me regarding this topic — something along the lines of, if you're unhappy, find another job. If you truly can't find a job somewhere else, your current employer is the only place in the world willing to give you a means of living. So you shouldn't piss them off

Oh I see, that makes a lot more sense. In that case, you did quite well for yourself. =)

Or become a producer if you can't/won't be a programmer or artist. In fact, if you're not talented, save $200,000 in student loans and don't try to be a game artist. If you have no talent, all the hard work in the world won't make you competitive against people who are both talented and work their butts off.

Oh god, you're that guy. I work with at least a dozen people like you at my job at a game publishing company. You just don't get it, and you never will unless someone knocks it into you. Please read this article if you haven't already.

Wait... you were a junior developer (as in a computer engineer, aka guaranteed good salary right out of college if you're decent), you made 50k, and you were happy about it? Did you start working a long time ago? I mean, I'm an associate-leve producer at a game company and I make $50k. Engineers should definitely make
