I have to rewatch all of Kimmy Schmidt. It’s the little touches like that “cult participant” caption that make it so fun to see again. And some of the gags go by so fast there’s a chance you’ll be seeing them for the first time.

Although I’m a King reader from way back, and a King re-reader, I think Danse Macabre is the one I’ve read most. Even now I’m sure I could grab my copy and discover, or rediscover, a book or movie I now need to get ahold of.
Norse god with a giant hammer
Chris Hemsworth would go on to anchor Infinity War with his comedic timing and emotional range.
I liked Thor 2 fine. It’s fun to watch both 1 and 2 in succession.
The First Avenger is the most-underrated of the films
I believe she’s right - but then I believe it because I only see Terminator movies that have Linda Hamilton in them. Why would I see any other?
next year I fully expect to have an action figure of myself performing as Benny Southstreet in my high school production of Guys and Dolls.
Can’t watch the videw now, but you know who I bet no one mentioned as a favorite?
I’m pretty sure that Lost Boys, Falling Down, and Tigerland are the only Schumacher movies I’ve seen - or even wanted to see. Of them, I’d watch the latter two any time - Lost Boys, not so much. It was fine but to me it’s dated badly.
Absolutely, Chancellor- when Douglas says it himself, toward the end, it’s “I’m the bad guy?” not indignantly, but a bit bewildered about it. He’s not, probably, knowingly evil exactly. But he’s impatient and much angrier than he should be (from the very beginning; and that anger’s probably been there for decades). He…
I just rewatched the much of the latest season. I’d forgotten how (it might be in the last episode) realistic, ugly and oddly unhealed they made Jon Snow’s scars... He didn’t just die, he died painfully.
I haven’t seen one episode of this show, thought I’ve wanted to. So - thanks for the reminder, AVC! I like the attitude of making standalone episodes that still feed into a larger arc. Was Buffy the first show to do this, or just the first one I became aware of that did?
Man oh man am I glad this finally exists.
Hey don’t blame me! I did my best to support the boycott. I only saw the movie twice. That counts, right? As long as I kept muttering “girls are yucky” while I watched?
Yeah, that Stan-filled credits intro to Captain Marvel had me -- not sobbing, but sort of sighing. Then his actual cameo where she smiles at him - perfect. I mean, she’s Skrull-hunting, they can look like anyone, but there’s no way in the world this sweet old guy is a Skrull (is what she seems to have concluded,…
I’ll go right ahead and admit that I might be dim or maybe not a deep enough thinker. But holy hell, I thought Kubo and the Two Strings was flat-out wonderful, from the very first line (“if you must blink, do it now”).
Neal Adams’ Batman is the best Batman! Fight me!
Batman also physically attacked his fiance in that story because he thought she might be a robot.
I want him to play Ivan, Natasha’s chauffeur/bodyguard/pal. I actually don’t know who David Harbour is; I just want SOMEone to play Ivan.
