Obviously, pro wrestling is not a competition. But nobody introduced the word “sport” here until you, and everyone has acknowledged for 25 years that it’s a show, so I’m not sure what’s got you so aggrieved about something that is obviously beneath your impeccable standards.

This is a solid routine with a lot of flourish. Shin Lim’s work is god damn poetry compared to this, though, in terms of theater.

I think Brown is a really good intangibles player. I haven’t watched enough this year to see what’s going on, but he doesn’t really have a gap to fill like he did late last season and into the post-season, so those intangibles don’t add much when other people cover the same ground. 

All things being equal, I think he’s probably too stupid to remember numbers accurately, and isn’t shrewd enough to sneak anything anywhere.
