I’m one.

Assuming Harden wins the award, I think it’s fascinating that in three straight years, OKC drafted three eventual MVPs. I don’t believe that’s ever happened anywhere else. All deserved it (if you’re not just zeroing in on the “Well, LeBron is better than all those guys” argument and look instead at the achievements

This is all actually OK. If they went for Cousins it would be a long-term deal and they clearly are looking to draft someone early, in addition to grabbing Barkley. Taylor is still an upgrade, he has targets, they may get a stud running back. I dunno...none of this seems terrible.

That’s a really good impression, by the way.

My brother bought 4 GB of storage for his video business in ‘92-’93, and it cost him $1,300. 25 years later you can get 1,000 times that much storage for 1/13th the price. His original investment would be worth pennies today...

Dead Letters:

Penny Hardaway missed significant time when he was with the Suns because he tried on too many shoes at the mall.

Wait...he had a boil? Those can be fucking murder. Yeesh...

I think some of it will depend on streaming. You have to be a pretty hardcore fan to fly in for a show, so if it’s available online anywhere, while they’ll definitely make money on that, it would probably hurt attendance.

Paid attendance or just attendance? WWE famously gives away thousands of tickets for in-market radio promotion and to corporate partners for any PPV, and without that, for something like Fastlane, they’d run a pretty thin margin against 10,000. So, not to naysay the event or the talent, but it’s a lot harder than it

A.J. could do it, but I doubt that phone call is ever going to happen. Ironically, the only real choice outside of Heyman is Stephanie.

Paige could do that. It’s not like Absolution is really worth keeping at this point; it existed largely as a vehicle for her, anyway. Not a lot of good talkers on the women’s roster. Alexa, Paige...that’s about all they’ve got.

“Too soon.”

But seriously: “The U.S. president said he could not understand why a country of samurai warriors did not shoot down the missiles, the sources said.”

I think some of the limitations around Heyman are the limitations that come with repping Brock. If she’s actually going to be around TV most of the time, you can have a lot more opportunities. Paul basically has to sell the network at this point. He’s still great at it, but you’re right — the builds are very similar.

They could put her with Heyman, right? I don’t know what’s going to happen with Brock and from my vantage point, if he loses clean at Mania, there’s not really two more years of limited appearances that even make sense for him any longer. So why make the investment?

Yes, it matters a lot. Ask Ken Shamrock or Dan Severn. The thing that doesn’t matter is her legitimacy as a fighter.

That road trip is going to be murder. Aldridge played like ass last night coming back from injury and Anderson was the only starter in double digits, with 11. The only question is whether Oklahoma City still perceives the Spurs as a top-tier team and shows up for the game or understands that they’re pretty bad right

It’s like he’s a Suns “fan” or something.

If only his offensive lines blocked like his arteries...
