Streetcars and light-rail are more or less permanent investments. Because bus routes are not cities can just cut them when they want to with no repercussions. Also when has anyone ever invested in development around a bus stop. Streetcars and Light-rail promote infill development to create density.

So turbocharged and supercharged cars cannot be sports cars? Most of newer turbocharged cars especially with a 6 cylinder engine like BMW N55 will rev out to redline no problem but do not suffer from the lack of midrange power the 86/BRZ lack.
That lack of mid-range power on the stock engine kills it for me. It feels like the engine is screaming but doing nothing. On the GTI I had and now on my 228i they are the most fun in that mid-range area.
