I dunno, I just watched it two or three more times and it seems like the SUV turned to hit her. This could be one of those ‘The media is the enemy!’ type of MAGAs.

*shrug* I got my new MacBook Air for $749 and its way faster than my $400 Inspiron 14 Ryzen 5 3500U laptop. The fact that the Mac is all metal, gets 4x the battery life and has a higher resolution screen is even nicer.

Maybe you’re too young, but Sony outright astroturfed the Dreamcast out of fashion before the PS2 even launched. There were fake demos (Killzone 2), press conferences, etc. They claimed every blade of grass in Tekken Tag Tournament was individually rendered and had physics acting upon it. They claimed that the PS2

The problem was that MSFT was the boogeyman for old white conservatives in the 90's because computers were MSFT and vice versa. They’ve since grown into the culture enough to be accepted. Now they old white conservatives have moved on to Facebooks, Twitter and whatever else they think is censoring them. Basically

Right. They have no pull until the deal is closed. They could just be telling him what he wants to hear, because if you’re negotiating to buy a company someone is running and owns a significant portion of, you don’t go in saying ‘first thing we’ll do is fire you!’. You wait till the deal is signed and THEN say

Don’t forget the massive changes in immigration numbers, too. Legal immigration was down 300K from 2019 -> 2020. The numbers for 2021 aren’t out yet but it’s likely lower still. So some of the people that come here legally and work aren’t coming. Even if only half, thats still 150K people from ‘19 to ‘20. And even if

I said I wanted to get a stainless 4x4 square tube and fill it with concrete. Make the footer run like 4’ underground and dump 10lb of concrete there, too so that you could hit it with an late 90’s Nokia and only the Nokia would be damaged.

Wait... these guys are ‘qualified’? The amount of cars and mailbox they run into and destroy around here makes me think otherwise. Four of twelve houses on my street have had mailboxes that have been ripped down by snowplows. Some more than once. The township says ‘tough shit’.

I think the ‘special gun’ from the eyeballs should have had a semi-limit. Like you can scoop up X amount of it from the eyeball and use it till a meter runs out, then if you somehow don’t kill the bot, you gotta run back to the eyeball goop and recharge. It was a little too ‘convenient’ that it would always last just

I had to do it once. Previously, in all my years, I had this giant pair of ChannelLock pliers that I could use to grip and turn. The one time I couldn’t find them, the damned filter wouldn’t come loose. Got it out with the screwdriver trick, though.

Yes. My wife got hit with a $600 charge to put new brakes on a car that was being turned in with 30,000 miles. The problem? The car had free service including brakes until 36,000 miles. They tried to argue that if she had made the appt for the brakes 3 weeks prior, it would have been fine, but NOW... well now you have

I mean, we can say that, but looking at game sales charts, the only PS exclusive in the top 10 of sales over the holiday season of 2021 is Spider Man Miles Morales. The rest are multi-platform or Nintendo Exclusive. For all of 2020, according to metacritic, of games with a 90 or higher score, 4 were PS exclusive (3

They bungled the launch, but came from behind and surpassed Sony on consumer friendliness a few years ago. MSFT messed up, but Sony just constantly has so much contempt for their customers.

Wait, you mean a top of the line current gen console is better than the entry level SKU of an almost 10 year old console? You don’t say...

I don’t have a PS4. I skipped the XB1/PS4 gen because I had kids in 2013 and didn’t see the need to spend $500 on a console to not have time to play it. I figured I’d just wait till price drops a few years later. I ended up not buying one at all. I did get a Series S for a killer deal on a bundle from Costco a year

I got a Series S for $319 with a 2nd controller and 6mo of GPUltimate from Costco like, a year ago or so. It’s been absolutely fabulous. It’s quiet, fast, and plays everything on my 4K TV just fine. I’ve got a baller gaming PC, too, so I’m not just comparing it to previous gen consoles. Would I pay $500+ for it? No,

Especially when there’s plenty of sneakers IN THE GAME that they could have copied instead.

I’d love to see GM’s take on a new version of the 3rd gen 1980's Camaros. Even make an IROC Z28 version just to lean into it. T-tops, too. I want T-tops in 2022.

Outer Wilds got lost in the shuffle to me since it launched around the same time as Outer Worlds and every time I read about it my brain conflated the two. “New Vegas in space. Got it.” And never absorbed that it’s a different game.

Well, at least with a stock you theoretically own something. A portion of that company you purchased stock in. A company that makes real revenue based off of goods and services. The value is only loosely based on what someone is willing to pay, because there’s a direct correlation with the performance of that company.
