I hate that shit. You need ore to buy crystals, and you convert crystals gems to buy upgrades for your pieces.

Yeah all of these deserve to be in there. Some are just ‘great games’ and some are games that broke through to non-gamers. Myst and YDKJ chief among them.

Listen to yesterdays episode of ‘The Distraction’ podcast. They go into a lot of the recent executive vs actual workers in a few industries. Tech, journalism, entertainment, etc. It’s a good listen. It’s nominally a sports podcast but the one from yesterday barely mentioned sports. The episode with Adam Conover and

Hey man, owning the Magic Castle ain’t cheap. He’s gotta finance it SOMEHOW, right?!

Lots of thoughts. Steiner is gone because he flat out told Gene Haas that he needed to actually invest in the team if they didn’t want to be a laughing stock. It escalated into an argument with Steiner finally saying ‘Fine, I quit.’ I kind of feel bad for Ayao Komatsu but Haas is getting what he deserves. Komatsu got

I don’t get those feelings, but I’m 42 and have been playing video games since the mid 80's on PCs primarily. Anything over 30fps and I’m golden. I had a 60hz monitor forever and finally bought a 120hz one after hearing from so many people how much better it is. I can’t tell the difference. It feels the same to me.

Hardee’s Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits are out of this world amazing. The last Hardee’s around here closed decades ago though (south eastern PA), so I have no idea if they’re even still a thing, but in the late 80's/early 90's, fuck me were they heaven.

This was always my question. Why did Epic have a problem with Apple and Google but not MSFT, Sony and Nintendo? They take the same cut as everyone else and still force you through their payment portals. My feeling is that it was because there’s a lot more people with phones than there is with consoles, so it was

And I have a feeling if there’s a 3rd party app store, and you put your app on it, it’ll get buried so far on Apple’s own App Store that you might as well not even be on it.

Yeah I’ve had a thing against Sony since the PS2 launch and how it murdered my poor baby boy Dreamcast. I haven’t owned a Sony console since. I still want to play awesome games though, and just finished Part I a week or so ago. Also loved the TV show. Want to finish the story now.

The Mini one can be modified. That circle comes off and they make a cover that’s JUST the middle part then. I 3D printed my own.

Glad I got my copy free with my RX 7800XT. I was so excited and it just... I never played past getting to the explorers guild or whatever.

I didn’t. They OP did. I said ‘A movie ticket and a drink costs $25' and the rebuttal was ‘NOT WHERE I LIVE’, which, as we all know, means that’s the cost everywhere because a person on the internet said it. I came back with facts backing up my statement.

I literally said “ticket and a drink for $25" in my first post. I stand by that, and provided exact numbers. I’m not sure what you're upset about?

AMC in Philly is $18.86 ($15.49 + $2 ‘convenience fee’ + tax) for a non-matinee ticket if I buy it right now online, and a regular sized drink is $7.41 ($6.99 + tax). So a drink and a ticket is $26.72. Add a small popcorn for $10.06 ($9.49 + tax) to the mix and it’s a grand total of $36.78 for a single ticket.

Not only that, but have any of these people SEEN the fucking outside recently? We get like 3 weeks in fall and 3 weeks in spring that aren’t freezing or sweltering. Everything needs you to be driven to it. Everything costs money. If you try and hang out at a park or something, some busybody calls the cops on you. If

“Neither is repeating words off a teleprompter, but here we are, Jayne.”

That could help out Twitch’s lagging revenues. They could call it ‘Twatch”

That’s fine, well not fine but industry practice. However, there needs to be some way to ensure you get in contact with a human when you need to. A ‘call me’ function or a live chat function or SOMETHING. Had I simply been assured that someone was looking at my issue or working on it, no chargeback would be necessary.

I’m a Xennial myself. Born in ‘81. I remember all the GenX stuff, but also was formed by all the Millennial stuff.
