I've been meaning to try some of the recipes at chocolatecoveredkatie.com (she's vegan), but I haven't yet gotten around to it. Unfortunately, I like chocolate so much that I manage to eat it before I get to making dessert.

    ISTJ.

There's one for the California legislature too, but that deadline has passed too.

    The container store has it.

You are where I'll be in 5 or 6 years! But yes, I am already a bit scared.

The Internet says to put an ice pack on it. My personal experience says so too, but I have not had many large blisters before.

I have not seen it, and now that you've mentioned it, I probably won't...except I just might. I watched Bridget Jones Diary 1, cringed the whole time, and then went and watched number 2, so I could cringe some more.

I drink earl grey black, when I can get it. I used to put milk and sugar in it, but since I've started eating sugary desserts, I took out the sugar and then had to take out the milk. I think my parents are horrified.

This is exactly how I feel.

This gives me hope that I will one day be able to rock a long dress. Since I am a short person, I have trouble wearing long dresses without looking like I'm drowning, even though I love dresses like hers :(

Is it going to be a pizza party? :P

    Talk or walk?

Fires in the Mirror was the inspiration for With Their Eyes, the only school theatrical production I've ever been proud to participate in (well, years after the fact).

Ah. I didn't know about there being other famous people named Dan Gilbert. I'm in molecular biology/neuroscience and a friend in psychology/neuroscience shared a light summer reading list she got from her professor. Stumbling on Happiness is the only one I got to, but there's more books for laypeople on similar

I cook for about a week at a time, but I do get picky about my rice.

Yes, especially because I make an honest effort to be places, or let people know when I'm 5 minutes late. I often feel that I care about the plans I've made more than everybody else. I think people must call us "dependable" behind our backs. It's not a bad thing, but so very frustrating to be the most dependable

It works until I find recipes for chocolate torte online, but I am also lazy and don't buy eggs very often, so all of that helps too. To be honest, I didn't know torte was a thing until a few months ago.

Ooh, that sounds really good. I manage to keep myself from indulging in baked goods by not keeping flour in my apartment, and also because I apparently have limits on how much cream and sugar I can consume in one day without becoming sick O.O
