Oh yeah, those always get me. I have seen them take off towards the water at SXM but only once in a while. Would make more sense but then you have arrivals and departures going in the same direction, which I dont favor either!
some of us need 4 doors. But beyond that, I am a previous owner of a 3.0s as well, but some of us don’t like overheating in traffic and cracked cylinder heads (fixed with a later casting head).
he is just a sketchy in his advertising. No record of how it is titled or anything. And the fact he doesn’t want to go on the record. Did it sound legit even?
I have 2 kids, and I always think to the story of my mom leaving me in her Chevette and locking herself out. And there was some pissed off bee in there with me. She broke the glass, I was only a few years old, but she related to me about 200 times through my youth that story, so I never leave my kiddos in there…
you also miss the part where the 3.5 liter is referred to as the “rodbender” and once you get a kink to the rod, it ovals out the cylinder bore. As you said, 222K on it means it will probably keep trucking on - and they are fast and powerful. But this person needs a kick in the ass for pricing it so high. 6-7 grand is…
oh yeah half the time you can get domestic lines at the parts store for a few bucks all pre flared. Good quality tubing too
there is not one compression fitting I would ever use on my brake lines ever, even rated for it. What is so goddamn hard about using a flare tool anyways?
I am going to go ahead and comment on a 7 year old post. Just because I was looking around for some info on how to fix the diaphragm on mine and came across this post first!
Ok, so I am driving my Scirocco outside of Boston in rain when I smell smoke. My drivers side lower corner of the windshield was leaking right onto my fuse box, mainly the fuel pump relay. Car dies and I am stuck on the left hand side of the road, with a carload of friends, some stuff we probably shouldn't have had…
the one I was looking at was more of a "sedan" and it was off the road for 5 years or so. Sold for $12,000. Early, non original recaro seats, little bit of rust but not bad.
Do you even wipe, bro?
