well, if you bought into the hype 3-4 years ago about 2018 having a rear engine, rear drive Beetle, that would be a good start to saving it. The Beetle needs to be something different not just in the looks department for it to be a strong seller. Look to your roots VW, and can make this happen.

oh yeah, it is loud and I have hearing damage already from other things. I usually just duck under the water on that beach when there is a flyover or a takeoff. The people that stand holding onto the fence on takeoff. Luckily the condo is super soundproofed

my timeshare condo is at the end of that runway. All I do is sit and drink beer and watch planes land and take off. I have seen them this close a few times, and just about touch. The climbout from there is ridiculous too on the other end. Dont climb out hard enough, into the mountain you go.
