If I can ward off a dog without a gun, then so can a highly-trained police officer. They are trained in self-defense, hand-to-hand, lethal and non-lethal weapon use, among other things. I’ve dealt with numerous dogs in my neighborhoods as I’ve grown up, and I didn’t have anything close to a gun to defend myself.

I’m 40 and find this to be an amazing time to be alive. I got to cast a vote for the first African American president and I will be casting a vote for the (hopefully) first female president.
