Yea I can totally relate to you. I eventually had surgery to get rid of it. I work in finance so I am always having to shake peoples hands and stuff. Its just part of business culture.
Yea it sucks that many people have to deal with that on a regular basis. I suffered from sweaty palms for awhile but not to the extent of the above picture.
I think it might work, only because they are so isolated from most of the world.

Keep your eyes open and kinda pinch the top and bottom parts of your eyes. Hold still and don't move, after a few seconds everything will start to blur and eventually you will see nothing after about 15 seconds.
