Also solar and wind is seen as effeminate dirty hippy stuff. real men burn stuff they dig from the earth.
They are reacting out of fear and fear brain is not logical
SO true, and that would be more thought then who I am talking about would bother with. They see EV as anti-masculine, they fear for their pick up trucks, ATVs, SxS, ice augers, snowmobiles and everything else they own gas powered and the gas powered rural culture they value. The see EVs, solar, and wind power as…
All the way back to bison hunting, wheat farming and the cold war ND has a history of boom and bust economic cycles. https://blogs.und.edu/uletter/2020/09/sixty-years-of-boom-and-bust-the-impact-of-oil-in-north-dakota-published-by-und-digital-press/

jalopnik comments are very much not a safe space. People will tell you are wrong if you comment what you ate for breakfast.
how about the dakotas that was also on the list.

no argument from me on that one.

my wife is a nurse and the staffing level is beyond dangerous. The suits are effing up healthcare. funny thing is that even the nonpofits are run this way as the executive salaries are wild.
This is like the makers of Hawk the Slayer saying they had the most influential movie of 1980, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080846/ and not empire strikes back.
This, I hate streaming platforms that seem to play a movie if you even stop on the thumbnail for a second or autoplay the next thing it thinks you would like.
I pecifically do not care, I was making a cybertruck joke.
One moral of the story. Do not go wheeling with your buddy with a cybertruck. They will get stuck AND they will not be able to unstick you.
