I meet a lot of rural people that live way up north in the dakotas, mn, wi and they see EVs as a threat to their very way of life and culture. Everything they do is gas powered: work, school, church, groceries, hobbies all of it.

you describe a fantastic system sadly now with entire conpanies revolving around the current quarter profits, nobody is being long term anymore. 

my wife is a nurse and the staffing level is beyond dangerous. The suits are effing up healthcare. funny thing is that even the nonpofits are run this way as the executive salaries are wild.
