From the comments it seems people think there is an unlimited number of used cars that are all in perfect mechanical shape.

So there are just loads of all kinds of used cars that are optioned like and enthusiast would want with on CPO with 10000 miles just sitting on lots ready to be purchased? I did not know.Why to so many people just keep cars for 10000 miles? 

I would rather buy what I want that has a warranty than someone else’s ill maintained soon to be broken cast off.

I also keep them forever and this is a car website, why are people more worried about the financial investment of a car than enjoying driving what they want. 

YES And if someone is living paycheck to paycheck a small car loan may be easier to budget than waiting until you have saved thousands to pay cash for a car.
