Having both taken and taught college Microbiology classes and labs. I always uses different cutting boards for meats and veggies. I think we have at least 10 of various sizes, most plastic of some kind. The floppy flexible ones have some good uses. I am currently working on 2 in my workshop that will be oak and ash.

My kid was on a waterski team for years and wow as a poor family we only had some cheap ski boat (like $3K) that I keep running for a few summers. Being on a team let her waterski without much expense. Go to a water ski event and you will see the most white upper middle class crowd this side of a polo field.
