I love modern efficiency and reliability of new cars but seeing this next to an older one I do miss the older designs. they seemed to have less to prove. 

I get that ball cap, cammo hoodie dads will not want this as a family car. FFS Ford sell it on the commercial side with your transit cargo and cutaway stuff. There are plenty of businesses that want small 2 door white trucks with large beds.

I owned a ranger regular cab and a toyota regular cab. both long boxes and miss the bed length. Camped and slept in the bed of both of them with a topper/cap with a roof rack on it for the canoe. No they are not they cost the price of a set of tires and my entire life tires cost money. I was at the dallas airport and made the mistake of going to get the rental car while my family waited for the luggage. BIG mistake as it took some highway time and a toll road to get back to them.

Denver, yes there was a bit of construction at the time. the opposing arrows to transportation and the unmarked pillar for the rental shuttle was not helpful.
