I mostly posted this to see how many people say “but he said he did not want an SUV” when people are suggesting FWD when he specified AWD. 

Why not a 2 door Jeep wrangler. Too slow for the new driver to get into trouble and can handle the curb hits and other crap new drivers will do to it and is easy to parallel park for a new driver. I taught my kid to drive in my JKU. 

Yep that is one of the reasons I am NOT sentimental about old cars.

In the books Bond is late thirties so he is only a bit too old. One or two movies would be fine.
