I am so sorry that I did not know I was allowed to have my own opinion. I happen to like the filler episodes as they were at least new content on a regular basis. But from all the comments on here I clearly have to change my opinion as everyone is telling me I am wrong.

Sorry that I have a different opinion I did not know that was not allowed. Also there were plenty of Roots and Thornbirds and other sequels to miniseries back in the 70s and 80

There were still plenty of new content and new episodes of existing shows far more than now but then again I did not realize I had to have your opinion about all things.

For the lift nay sayers my JKU rides better after a progressive rate 2 in lift than 10 year old stock suspension.

memory says cracking in half on roof behind driver.

Front and rear hard recovery points? Underbody and rocker protection? Venturing onto dirt, for real, really requires some things for sure. Kinda bored with all the quarry shots from manufactures with their “off-road” packages.

I just read is as a nostalgic idea that more lighter fair tv would be welcome back.

Yes! it seems like there may be a thin line between limited series and canceled after one season series theses days. (joking?)

We olds once had that situation on TV and we called them miniseries. like Roots, The Thornbirds, Rich Man Poor Man, The Blue and the Grey.

OK edit my post to say “streaming services” not just netlfix.

I rememeber that my 96 ford needed all kinds of stuff replaced nearly yearly like belts, hoses, starter, points and condenser, cap and rotor, plugs and plug wires, brakes, various fuses and bulbs, sometimes the radiator and many gaskets. We replaced crap yearly that does not go bad on a now new car for 15+ years.

Tales of the gold monkey is what Archer: Danger Island was a take of of. It was a fun show for my middle school brain.

Agree. There have been great shows even cancled after 1 season by netflix.

As an example Season 8 of the Simpsons has WAY more than 8-10 fantastic episodes. That season would not have happened in an 8 every other year world.

I have experienced it first hand from the drivers seat and been following other jeeps and watched it live. It is a scary as you would imagine it to be. The bad part is there are so many things that can cause it from work bushings to tires being out of balance and many other things.

Thanks for the support. It seems like suggesting more than 8 episodes every other year of a tv show is worse than infanticide for so many people.

As is the opinion of most of the post here. In my opinion I miss the filler episodes because they were at least new content and filled the role this article is suggesting.

Yes I can remember lots of shows that were cancled quickly like manamal and tales of the gold monkey. However netfilx recently has been especially brutal lately AND there was still a lot of new content on all the networks as they filled prime time with lots of shows.

Some people just blow stuff up without a political agenda, often just stupidity.

They were far worse than people remember. My step dad had a new one as a demo car as he was a chevy salesman. They were horrid from the factory.
