I would argue that it is more about the culture there than the enforcement. There is not as many loner cowboy types and more of a culture of shared responsibility and common good. It goes along with things like public health, personal fitness and fee higher education.

When I grew up and moved out of Appalachia and discovered that cranberry sauce is not just astringent pink jello, I now like it when it actually has some berries in it and actual flavor.

This is a hard one for me. I get that people have bitched about every safety and technological add on in cars for 100 years. People bitched about ABS, seatbelts, airbags, OBD2, Bumpers, Safety glass, rear cameras and on and on. I think there is never a case on public roads to go over 85 -90 mph.

I wonder if show runners for netflix shows have learned that cliffhanger endings do not help.

I am not a custom car mechanic and I have not worked on a ford 2.3 L since about 1988. Why are there 2 air intakes/filters? A cone by the Radiator and another back by the firewall?
