My wife is from rural North Dakota were if you run out of gas in the winter you can actually die. She loves her remote start, heated seats, & heated steering wheel.

Incredibly well said. In many of the non union places i have worked the only way to get a head is to blow the boss, play golf with the boss or both.

Letting it warm while you walk from your desk to your car is not letting it idle for 20 minutes. 

Now imagine having some medical conditions like arthritis and your car being -25 oF. I moved from the mid atlantic where I never thought about the weather to the way upper midwest where the weather actively tries to kill you. Remote starts in winter are really nice.

I have worked in union and non-union places and the union workplaces were always better in my opinion. But then again I am not a self-centered overconfident man that thinks he alone can do better than collective bargaining. 

Winter is a real reason to have a remote starter. I installed one in my jeep for about $85 and 20 minutes of work and it was amazing. The price is now about $120 without a coupon. Worth is when it is -20 oF. 

Why not both: Cities not all downtown skyscrapers there is a lot of open surface parking in many cities if you go out to the municipal border of the city.

Such a slopped hatch is so low as to remove a lot of storage and usable space that “Utility” kind of goes away. Try putting anything back there like dogs or luggage or camping gear and you will see why old SUVs had strait upright back hatches/doors/gates.

Part of my issue is that I want more. yes there was mediocrity but at least it was new content. I want more tv to watch. Not just 8 episodes of a good show every 2 years. Sure what is there is great but there is so little of it and I do not want to spend my tv time and streaming money on stuff I saw before years or…
