Something has to be the cart and the horse if there is no need they nobody will want to fix the grid. Something need to motivate the reason to upgrade everything.

Between this, the new taco and the colorado I am not liking the “utility” bars that look very 80s roll bar-ish. At least they are not double chrome tubes.

For certain old cars I love the idea, some old cars are beautiful and fun but maintenance nightmares. To each their own.  Some people want to work on carbs other would rather never work on an old car but want one to drive.

But there is a good argument that classic cars don’t make sense. They are a labor of love and have always been a time and money pit. But that is ok. Yes the ev kits are expensive now but so was everything aftermarket at first. I love the idea of removing carbs, or entire old british or italian engines from otherwise

Then we fix the grid. good paying American jobs that cannot be outsourced. FFS if the “its not perfect” “it not ready” people were around in the 1930s-1940s the rural electrification, hover damn, TVA, Manhattan project, would never have gotten finished. I actually believe America and Americans can get stuff done.

Exactly!

But the Mycologists will NOT be eating them.

Having watched his show for a long time I would say the covid mask and lockdown and vaccine thing is what broke him.

I was saying, if you read, that not allowing workers to collectively ask for things it may as well be “like” slavery. This is aimed at those that want unions illegal.

I did read it and you are forgetting the power imbalance between a singular employee and an employer, that makes a huge difference. Your comments make it sound like they are equal.

In my years as a union steward I find that in addition to busting unions,  “we can’t fire that slacker because of the union” is a ploy used by slacker management to not have to do their job following those documentation rules.

The Tremor 2 door with an 8ft box would be a great camping/overlanding rig. bummer it is only 4 door.

This is the easiest Miata is the right answer in a while.

I would recommend not even using just literature but actually find and educated expert that has been doing it for years and is an expert not just crazy and crazy lucky uncle whatzet.

I drove both manual and automatic versions of early 80s ford escorts and the automatic was vastly slower than the manual. Around 2.5 sec difference in 0-60 times.

yes and I did a better job of that with a manual than some crap 3 speed auto.

Tossing up our hands and saying both sides are bad is not a way to make things better. What pro worker system would be 100% perfect every time?

Manuals you could at least have more than 3 gears and try to accelerate buy revving the hell out of the tiny hamster motor.
