In the 80-90 I went to the movie theater at least 1-2 times a month. Saw many of the classic movies of those decades. In the 2000's I even did the moviepass thing. I loved the reserve your leather reclining seat thing. I am now just done. The big must see things are now just reboots, live action remakes and superhero

Somehow recently there is this upswing of Aerosmith Hate out of seemingly nowhere. They were and are fine and still actually a rock band. Are people pissed they were not hair band or death metal enough? I do not get it.

There is something to the need to be anti-government. It is certainly in the american mythology. Liberals think they are the resistance to the nazi-ish empire and conservatives think they are the resistance to the liberal new republic or that the first order is woke or something. The orville was a classic bait and switch. Season one was sold to fox as a family guy creator naughty humor space comedy and season 2-3 are a loving homage to star trek and to many fans more star trek than the new stuff.  Derry girls is a closed caption show. 

Wonder how the evangelical fundies will spin this one? I will not be good.

The Orville season three ending was perfect if it never comes back for a 4th, I so want it to but like Derry girls, Reservation Dogs, After Life and on and on, three seasons seems like all good shows get these days.

3 seasons seems to be the top end of good streaming shows. 

Weaponizing right wing rage to close public schools because people do not want their tax money going to teach “those” kids and private corps want that public school money. 

I was in an auditorium full of kids watching this and all the male teachers were lined up across the back of the room wiping their faces.

Happy to see aggressive overlanding style go. Overlanding to many of us that actually overland is not aggressive but tread lightly. Nothing that big loud and fast said “overlanding”, dune hopping off roading yes, overlanding no.
