I am in my 50s and proud real gen x and coworkers in their 20s come to me for tech advice regularly. I use a printed at home boarding pass. faster and my phone stays in my pocket.

I print the barcode pass and it is faster than people trying to wake up their phone and hold it at the right angle. This is not a agent generated boarding pass just the print out from my home printer. MUCH faster than messing with a phone.
