The local Elk’s lodge closed. We went in a few times and they had things like Lutefisk dinners and meat raffles. At the bar though were just sad old men.
It is not a toyota so a sizable chunk of the overlanding community is not interested.
So you need the giant truck and trailer to get you to the trail and I would guess that there are places that this is not street legal so gassing up and getting to other trails on paved roads may be a challenge. This is a big toy for those that can afford big toys.
I will miss the hammer like simplicity and durability of solid axles.
well said, like literally anywhere else is more interesting.
Many of the ones that get the jobs end up sitting at a computer doing project management and never physically touch a piece of a rocket at work.

I am an older genXer. I do not go to bars as I hate sitting is a bar or brew pub alone in having a drink. My wife does not drink beer. I work from home and get my work done, why should anyone care. if someone has a job that cannot be done from home that their choice but I should not have to sit in an office because someone else does not.

good point, I do miss the new season every year and not having to wait 2 years for another 8 episode season. It is like tv is all 70/80s miniseries now.
As much as I want a season 4, I am glad 3 ended the way it did and not with some cliffhanger.
Will anyone notice or care? Network tv is fading away. I do miss the days of 23+ episode September to May new scripted TV that I grew up with.
