The thing is, countries record violent crimes in different ways. In the UK, all physical altercations are reported as a violent crime. But in other countries, it will only get reported if there is an injury.

The US isn't the only country that has violent video games. According to wiki, the largest video game markets are North America, Japan & UK.

Japan and Australia have very low gun ownership rates.

..Or maybe the teacher could've been killed and Lanza takes the gun to kill even more people.

It doesn't matter if Washington D.C has the strictest gun control policy since one can easily get a firearm from neighboring Virginia.
