I always enjoyed Braid a lot. It’s one of those hit-or-miss kind of things. I personally enjoyed the gameplay and really liked the whole plot twist of the story that felt refreshing. I say though the game at least deserves some credit for helping indies get back to the scene for sure.

But, most notoriously,one leak also included Halo 3, Second Life, and Quantum Conundrum 2, among others. So far, none of those have come to fruition.

That actually makes sense for a game of this scope. 7 was a huge game, so it’s gonna take years to recreate it in spectacular detail, so episodes make sense so Square doesn’t spend money on a game development without profit for a decade again like 13 versus/15. Having played through all of Final Fantasy 7 since this remake was announced, and don’t get me wrong, I loved the game still, but I can vouch that the gameplay is dated. Big time. A new game would be flamed if it used the turn-based combat like the original.
