Not much. Gordon went down. Randle went down. Exum looks years away. Stauskas sucks. Embiid was the right pick. Just didn't work out. Now if they took him ahead of Wiggins it would be an issue.

I mean, they drafted Embiid with the knowledge that they were going to suck for the foreseeable future, so the risk/reward ratio was a little different for the Sixers than it might have been for other teams. My opinions of the team’s “rebuilding” notwithstanding, you can’t really knock them for making the pick.

The Sixers suck because the previous GM traded Andre Iguodala for Andrew Bynum, not because Sam Hinkie drafted Joel Embiid instead of Aaron Gordon.

So, presumably you would have drafted somebody else from that year’s draft lottery? Sixers already have two other players that were drafted in the top 12.

It’s also a great place to live if you like no traffic, no smog, no state income tax, cheap housing, no earthquakes, no fires, no floods (get real), no humidity, world class food and entertainment, excellent natural surroundings, and plenty of jobs for people of all levels of education.

I only like rampant drug use out of that list, but I like it enough I could probably put up with the other stuff.
