My favorite part of that show is how it couldn't figure out whether they wanted people to sing the songs ala a musical or if they just wanted to lip synch over the real versions so they DID BOTH meaning the vocals are constantly grating against each other.

Well, at least it seems like they'll know its the final season going in and can have some fun crafting a real finale.

It didn't help that we were basically introduced to them in the previous episode and they were supposed to seem as if they'd been important all along.

It's kind of annoying that the "shocking" twist downbeat ending is the most boring and cliche thing the show has ever done.

I'm a sucker for these kinds of romantic indie flicks especially when they have a certain time restriction. and I generally always really like Chris Evans

I do wish the dinosaurs didn't look so cartoonishly goofy but what are ya gonna do.

I'd enjoy this. The two novels were really great stuff.

Yeah I was hoping, when they weren't showing us the picture for so long, that we just wouldn't see his portrait. Leave it up to the imagination and hint at its horror.

Yeah the show is definitely joyful. Like, there's depressing, violent and tense moments but I always come away full of life.

Reminded me of my favorite scene in a horror movie ever which is in The Thing. After they cut off The Thing's head, it sprouts little legs and runs away. The one guy just deadpans "Oh, you gotta be fucking kidding me."

and God I really want all 5 seasons and the finale they have planned.

Which brings up another thing I love about it, the work to make each of the characters get something from one another. Riley and Sun have a great exchange, Riley and Capheus have a great exchange, Riley and Will are obviously flirting. Etc.

Everyone in this show is very good at acting joy as well. Every time someone is excited or happy about what is happening to them they make you feel that exuberance.

My wife and I definitely were calling him "Boring White Cop Guy" for the first episode but he really gets interesting and I think the actor is so likable that it helps with that.
