I've been waiting for him to publish this forever and now I don't think I'll read it when he does.

I also loved Janet's kind of acknowledging "Well…"
Yeah there's definitely something to the idea of like, banishing oneself and admitting being a murderer when you KNOW that you were dicked over that I can understand Amantha and them not wanting him to do.
I usually don't feel that way but I kind of did with the song that Daniel and Tawny danced to last week. It was such a powerful moment, I didn't need that SUPER emotional and loud tune to be playing during it too. I'd rather it been hushed, just out of the radio, or a quieter song.
Yeah I was wondering about something more sinister when he kept saying "No one made you kill her" stuff. Does he know something else?
I get the feeling also that he saw a weird boy over a "beautiful" girl and the rage just bubbled up. That kind of rage is hard. People will convince themselves of anything just to hold onto that rage and that being "right."
In regards to "master of his own fate". The show doesn't want that but it seems Daniel doesn't want to either. He gives in etc.
I will admit to having some minor complaints about little aspects where it just didn't feel as unique as last season. But it was only some of the time and fucking hell this was the best episode of TV I've seen in years.
The one thing I found really interesting was the "No one MADE YOU KILL HER" what is going on there? Did he say something else in that original confession that we haven't heard about yet?
They both say that there is a good chance we won't ever learn whether he did or didn't do it. But I personally believe that first narrative. him finding her body and being distraught. The way he said to Jon "…memories" and that thread we've had with him and Trey of Trey trying to get him to remember. I think he is…
I swear I remember Trey and George mentioning a Christopher or at least a third person way back when they first met up in the pilot.
The reaction shots that the sheriff and her had throughout Daniel's confession were all absolutely brilliant acting. The sheriff is DYING to know what happened in that room. And i think there is a part of him that feels some sort of responsibility for Daniel. His line earlier this season, asking if Daniel's life is…
:(
WOO SEASON 3
Free Edgar Wright.
Really like this new one though I absolutely looooovvveeedddd the last one.
It keeps getting better too.
Woops! Goes to show how my music obsessions go all over the place time wise.
Owen Pallett, St. Vincent (woops, this was last year), Little Big League, the Life Without Buildings reissue, Parquet Courts and A Sunny Day in Glasgow are the ones I've really loved this year that weren't listed on here. And I know Shabazz Palaces is going to be huge on the list when I get to listen to it.
Was watching older episodes and I noticed there's a hint of that back in S1 when she's talking about Plato. He says "Plato was onto somethin'." and she responds "He was thought of as fairly astute." It's a cute little humorous moment but made me wonder if she or she and his father were big readers/intellectuals.
