Huh! I recall people badmouthing this and being disappointed because it looked great to me. This review definitely convinced me to give it a shot.

Rubicon :(
Oh if I were faced with actually MEETING the two then…yeah Ramsay definitely is scarier. Absolutely. But I think Roose frightens me and seems more evil to me because of some of the things that you point out. Ramsay I almost can't blame because he's clearly insane. Does that make sense?
I mean, yeah, at a certain point the argument is "Oh you should have seen it coming" (which is an argument that always makes me kind of annoyed at people).
I think Roose is even worse than Ramsay though. He is sane and does these awful things while thinking logically. Ramsay is just completely insane.
My one comment is that I sometimes find the show a little more sadistic and manipulative than Martin. I don't know why that is, Martin does very similar things to the show (make you root for and convince you something will happen one way before pulling the rug out) but something about his stories often feel…
Exactly. I feel like there's a part of him that, as he's confessing knows "I got it…and you are dead you fuck"
I mean, it doesn't matter too much as you say. But Oberyn definitely gets his revenge on Gregor.
Well, I won't say anything, in case you haven't read the 4th and 5th books.
I guess I just feel like there's a difference between "dying like a little bitch" and "dying in a grotesque way".
.
Ghost Robot!
Really fucking sucks.
AGHHHH YES. That and "You're not coming with me?"
Keith David will do that to you
He's Our You was written by Kistiss & Horowitz so I dunno
like how Mr. Eko was supposed to be ahugely important character but wanted out of the show so…nope.
THIS IS WHY I ALWAYS CRY AT HIM AND JACK IN THE HOSPITAL IN THE FINALE
Isabelle maybe? I think that was her name.
Not at all. Perrotta's previous novel was very critical of religion.
