I for one welcome Derek Zoolander as Jalopnik’s new guy who can write about cars and can’t drive good, but wants to learn how to drive good and do other stuff good too.

Do you notice how far away those things are from the actual dealers? DC is way west, the one in Boston is like in the middle of Massachusetts... the California ones are out in the ocean... Atlanta is on the Alabama state line. The quality control is bad with this map.
Fixed.
You’re putting the Supra up on a pedestal because of its reputation. Consider this:
People will buy it!
Didn’t the 3000GT go away because people were not buying it?
I’m reading this, and I’m wondering if you’ve ever owned a beater car. I hope so. Owning a beat up, crap car is the proper trial-by-fire, how-it-should-be experience for any budding car enthusiast. And it shows you what to avoid in the future, thereby appreciating nicer cars.
“Czysz offered a good insight into the reasons an enthusiastic car driver might prefer a paddle-shifter on a track, but a conventional manual gearbox on the street. When public speeds are limited by social courtesy and speed limits, ‘superfluous dexterity functions’ are welcome, as 100 percent focus on corner speed…

The proper term is “tractor rap”
I don’t know how she’ll do it. This was the only picture I could find of a “Ridgeline” and a woman. I think that could be a woman...or Joe Dirt. It’s anyone guess.
Let’s keep in mind you can get one of these guys with a 6-speed and a 250-hp turbo-4. No one buys them, sure. But this is one of those packages we will forget about until one with 4k miles shows up on NPOCP in 7 years.
Perhaps that’s a load-bearing rag?
reminds me of the old prowler test mules.
I really don’t see the point in this... why would anyone pay for a non-practical Golf? Especially one that doesn’t really even make that much power. If I’m looking for a track focused, 2 seater w/ 300HP it sure as shit isn’t going to be a Golf. I’m with you, I’ll take an RS any day. Hell, I’d take the ST over this…
I tend to find a lot of technic sets to not be that fantastic.
