He thaw-t it would be ice to leave it on the sleet and let it chill.

We all love the Viper as is (bespoke chassis, V10, manual only), but I’d rather see it survive changed (shared chassis, V8, auto optional) rather than see it go away.

That KLR BMW tho

Agreed, for me if Lincoln.would.just.make. a modern large rwd car it would totally change how I see them.

I’ve road tripped ‘70, ‘79, ‘84, 92 (Roadmaster),95 (Caprice), ‘99 Cadillacs. The ‘79 was the best, because pillowtop seats.

I was bringing up the transition of American luxury (and non-luxury) cars from the 1950/60s to the 80/90s. A transition marked by the big 3 cutting costs, lowering build quality, and being hampered by emission and safety regulations.

In my imagination they were just taller and longer Focuses

Minivan rally car, when I was 15 I figured minivans were too boring, if they turned them into rally cars they would sell way more.

How much you wanna bet this turns into Lexus’s XLR. Wild looking at the time, but kinda silly after a while.

It seems like CUVs are going to gradually outdo cars in terms of importance. Cars aren’t going to go away but I think they’ll play a smaller part. So I wonder if car companies are going to have to overhaul their lineups to better cater to our new egg-shaped market place.
