Re: #1. I managed to pull into a parking spot over someone else's coolant leak, and didn't notice it until I came back to the car. But I knew to check the coolant, and knew how much was in there from my recent monthly check. I still had my mechanic double check. No issue, but wound up buying the tires and battery I

I toss dollar store pie tins under my cars if I see something dripping. It helps seeing the liquid not on the driveway.

If there are drips under the car, if it’s not the stock “the only engine that doesn’t leak oil has no oil in it” scenario, look at the puddle of liquid. If it’s more than a few drops, have your car transported to your mechanic to be gone over; if it’s a tiny leak, you may be able to drive the car to your mechanic to

If you’re farting out sooty skidmarks from the tailpipe, there’s something wrong.

With regards to 4 and 5, I’ve told people to leave the radio off for a few minutes and listen when starting out in the morning. And if it feels wrong or different, it’s probably not your imagination.

God I miss Burnout.

Man, I wish they hadn’t pivoted to open world in Burnout Paradise. First off, an element of a racing game shouldn’t be whether I get LOST or not on the way to the finish line; second, the focus on the crashing was reduced, which was a huge misstep (Burnout basically turned a driving game into a fighting game, which

Which is a stupid take. The stores are gouging the prices. The rideshares are just delivering them as they would any other order from those same stores.  Its a dumb article.

Meanwhile in Canada (in my province anyway), we call the health authority, make an appointment, and pick up a pack of five for free.

Wondering the same thing. Maybe they’ll blame it on Kinja and it was supposed to go on Gizmodo or something.

Same here. I remember getting it for Christmas one year, and that was all I played! Still love Burnout 3!

Burnout:Takedown was my favorite. It was also the first game to ever give me blisters on my thumbs from playing it so much

I didn't realize that they could get their tune maps CARB-certified. Makes sense, if there's enough of a customer base demanding it. If any of these ideas come to pass, the customer base will definitely be there.

Thank you for putting to words what I have struggled to articulate myself.  My car is ready to hit the ditch after going beyond limping to this point.  I have the ability to buy a car and I really want my next to be a truck.  Been waiting years to get to where I could get what I want and now the stock is slim and so

The only bummer is getting it to pass inspection in California and maybe a few other states. (I think. I know they were considering scanning for only authorized ECU tunes; not sure if they did it or not.)

le sigh

Idiots will pay it is the problem.  Dealers are scum, and the people that pay the ADM are scum.

I have a reservation, but I’m never paying over MSRP for a normal car (not something actually special). I’ll just keep kicking it down the line until they stop being stupid.

$5000 to be high priority? Probably pretty reasonable to the people it’s important to. The $30,000 high priority and $20,000 to everyone else is ridiculous. If you were one of the first reservations, I see how it could be frustrating to see any pay-for-priority plans, but I don’t mind waiting for a reasonable price.

fuck dealers
