The automatic transmission delete option is an extra $4000. To add a manual transmission, that will be a $4000 option.

We’ll squeeze a doc fee outta your ass too, just to be safe.

It’s the less politically correct method of saying it’s slower than a seven year itch ‘round these parts.

Hahahahaha!

It’s a four cylinder truck, at that!

It couldn’t pull a sick whore off a bedpan!

In the car business, we refer to the 6.0 as the six point blow.

JUST had one in the shop. Ran like ass. Customer had it diagnosed at another shop, they said wiring harnesses. I asked my customer, are you SURE you don’t want me to take another peek? Nope, just install wiring harnesses.

After it was done, we found

The only can of whoop ass here is the can of whoop ass it’ll open on your WALLET.

It’s a trick...get an axe.

Wow. That last set of pictures seriously appeared to be from some action flick. All the headlights, the campfires all out in the middle of nowhere....the photography was excellent.

I’m glad you enjoyed the Bronco.  Your missive was well-received, as I will probably not get the opportunity to drive one till well after

I did post about the goof I made on the coils.

However, I was not aware that the M113 didn’t share the same oil leak problems. That’s actually nice to know!

Thanks, friend! You’re much more of a Mercedes expert than I am, because....well....I’m a Ford specialist with minimal Mercedes experience.

I’d rock the Pontiac FAR quicker than this.

Yeah, I made an edit in here when I realized my goof.

Yeah, there are coil over options, but you get looked down upon like a peasant for using them. It’s true they don’t ride as well as the ABC cars, but how far you gonna punish yourself?

( I will not look down upon you for doing such a thing.  I will congratulate you, and buy you a beer for ditching that shit.)

In my non Mercedes expert opinion, likely the dictator-style Benz.  The early 90's 560SEL.

Fair enough!

I am FAR from a Mercedes expert. I’m just good enough to know what I don’t want to own, or screw with at the shop.

Regarding your question, I am reasonably certain that a decent scan tool that has bi-directional control could actuate the valves as needed to bleed it down.

EDIT - I was wrong about the ignition coil - the V12 uses the one per side super high dollar coil. However, a genuine MB ignition coil for this is $155. And there’s EIGHT. So still high dollar, but not a couple of grand.

My mistake on that!

Thanks!  I was hoping to hell someone would catch it!  HAHAHAH!

Now, that’s true. It COULD have AirMatic, the S500 had ABC as an option. I would suspect it to have it, as this is an upper series car, but you are correct...it MAY not have it. ABC was standard on the AMG and S600.

If it does not, that does take a very serious worry out of the equation!

And, the technician weighs in on the German hot rod!

There’s several things to be scared of on an Mercedes of this vintage. They are both equally wallet-busting, so in no particular order.....

The Active Body Control hydraulic suspension. Jesus, what a nightmare. The pump is expensive as hell for a quality one. Yes, I

Oh, the mechanic’s gonna check in on this one.

1. Starter Motor on late model F150. I just had to do mine, a 2009 with the 5.4L. It’s damn near impossible to get the top bolt out. Getting back in is easier, it’s getting something up in there with enough leverage to break torque. Guys in the field attack this two ways

Oh, look! I ran across a pic of the officers in charge....

WOW! That would never go over here in the states. Mostly because the railroads typically will not turn loose of disused lines, mostly because they never know when they might refurbish those and use them again.

About the best we have is the rails to trails program, where they turn roadbeds into trails.
