As my granddad would say: You’re trying to pick up bullshit with logic. It ain’t gonna work.

It’s kind of like rescinding invitations to all guests of your party and sitting at home, drinking alone, because you’re afraid that one of your guests is going to cause a scene.

This is exactly why, when I go to sporting events, I try to avoid any controversy my actions might cause during the national anthem by ducking out to the concourse to take a piss just before it starts to play.

That’s it! If you won’t stand for the anthem, then no one gets to stand for it.
