Go away.
Go away.
I think having all the men as fat slobs is worse, Way to make cool characters look crap.
I really hope you’re joking.
i sure hope this is sarcasm, because if it isn’t, you got problems dude
Agreed! I was trying to figure out what I saw the similarities from, and it’s definitely the Tundra.
The rendering looks very Tundra-ish.
Agreed. The EXT lived in this weird pseudo-truck space that was just too niche.
It’s the same issue GM had with the Escalade EXT. If people wanted a Lux badge on a truck they’d still be making them.
Thats what came to my mind before cuda
Because in most cases,
A)Its almost as compact as the smaller engine it replaces (OHV pushrod design helps here)
B) Its pretty light for such a large capacity motor. Again in lot of cases its as light as the existing motor in the car
C) you could get it in crate form from GM with all the engine management ( no hunting…
Relatively cheap, simple, light and small with great HP. It's the engine equivalent of the Miata
It's a 5.7L or more V8, it's as light as most inline 4's or 6 cylinder engines that it's replacing, it's super compact, it makes a ton of power, it's crazy reliable for how much of a performance engine it is, and it's cheap. I could keep going, but you get the picture. Even taking money out of the equation, it's an…
There are lots of reasons: cheap, reliable, usually lighter than stock engine, good fuel economy (given the HP), lots of conversion parts/kits, large supply/many variations of engines, great community, huge aftermarket, small size, low height (better center of gravity), sounds great, E-Rod kits make it easy to be CARB…
It's not a tall engine, fairly lightweight, very easy to get parts (since there are so many, with many variations that have swappable parts), cheap, great torque/hp, and actually not too bad to work on.
I say this as a Ford guy.
Cheapish, plentiful, multiple configurations, reliable horsepower, strong aftermarket, simplicity created by the fact that it's been done so many times....
GM has mastered the crate motor market, order one and pick it up at the dealership. Large support for them, large after market for them, and are like legos for cars.
