I think the actions of the CIA and others go well beyond politics; the economic crisis is going to continue to be painted by politics because in the end we all believe in our hearts that the country will rebound.

What worries me more is whether this country has the ability to digest what it would learn in such a trial; blissful ignorance has its place.

Sounds like when I was a 1L ("downturn" but not nearly like this). I extern in a district judge's chambers and had a great time. No money, so I lived at home, but a great time.

The folks who are supposed to evaluate and honestly report the risk of an investment failed to do exactly that.

I think the difference is, people know Berman's a doofus so they're not exactly going to Vegas on his suggestions. Entertainment or not, I think it's naive to think people aren't actually taking Cramer's blustery, glib advice.
