This is 100% true. Some of it is due to infrastructure; lots of buildings just aren't wired for Fios or RCN (the other companies active in Manhattan), and it's substantially easier to run a wire out to a single-family house than it is to completely re-wire a 100-year-old building with dozens of individual units. And

Spot on. I met my last girlfriend when, after a successful second date that ended with some heavy making out and plans for a third, I decided to stop in my neighborhood bar for one last drink. Met a girl there (ridiculous story, by the way) that turned into an 8-month relationship.

"My mom used to always make wings for us by frying them in a shallow pan. But any time I do this, I get oil spattered all over the places and sixty grease burns on my arm."

Okay, who is this old woman wandering into the Giants locker room?

WOOOOOOOOO.

All of this has happened before, and it will all happen again. See you kids in Indy.

You know, to this day, I have never seen Ocean's Twelve or Ocean's Thirteen. I love the first one, everything I've heard about the later ones is that they're awful, and this is my solution.

I have zero problem with Soderbergh. His remake of Ocean's Eleven is probably at the top of my favorite movies list, and is definitely at the top of my "movies I can watch a million times without getting tired of" list. I'm just perplexed as to how Gina Carano wound up headlining this.

You know, I don't understand how this movie came to being. I could see it as a direct-to-DVD thing or something, but how on earth is Gina Carano starring in a Soderbergh film with people like Antonio Banderas, Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, and Channing Tatum?

Thanks, Johny, I really wanted to watch the Kim-Pierson fight for a third time this evening.

I'm hoping this keeps up, if for no other reason than potentially having a chance to re-take the consecutive losses record from Prairie View.

There's a difference between not wanting to hang the guy, and not understanding that he's certainly at least somewhat culpable. I think a lot of people commenting on this post are responding to the press conference, which was heavy on PSU students yelling, "HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY JUSTIFY FIRING JOE PATERNO???" I suppose

I'd be shocked if McQueary is around much longer, but he's small fish from the PR/business perspective. To be fair, nobody's holding a press conference about firing someone that far down the food chain, regardless of how culpable he was.

To be honest, I feel like he could have had he played it better. The board needed to fire him. There was basically no way that wasn't going to happen. If he hadn't said that he was going to retire at the end of the season, he might have given the board the opportunity to fire him at the end of the season, or even to

Well, at least ESPN has managed to grab an authority on being fired in Matt Millen.

"ARE YOU AWARE THAT STUDENTS ARE RIOTING DOWNTOWN RIGHT NOW?" "Well, I'm sitting here now, so, probably not."

My favorite part is the guy currently yelling, "The campus is gonna burn tonight!" It really is amazing, because while I'm sure there's a vocal contingent who's still supporting JoePa, my unscientific survey tells me that of my 22 Facebook friends who went to PSU, 21 have been calling for his firing and 1 doesn't say

I think describing some of the people asking the questions at this press conference as "the media" is a bit of a stretch.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that even these bigger taxis won't take more than 4 people. There are plenty of minivan taxis on the road already, but the majority are configured for only 4 people, and even when they have the space to take more, they won't. The number of passengers is limited by law, not just driver

Looked like a TD to me, but I also didn't think there was enough on the video to overturn it; basically, I figured whatever call was made on the field would have stood. That being said, WOW.
