Also, the Monte Carlo brewpub doesn't really exist anymore. I mean, it does as a bar/restaurant, but the brewery closed down a couple years ago. So it's not really worth it's own trip, if you ask me.

I lived there for 10 years. Here's where you want to go:
ALMOST ALL UNPACKED YAY.
Okay, all... fascinating discussion, but time for bed. Catch everyone later.
Impossible. I have yet to find a decent sports bar in Boulder. I have also yet to find a bar in boulder not overly populated by CU students.
Okay, here's a non-finance question. I'm going to be in Boulder over the weekend for a law-talkin' thing. There's a good chance I'm going to want to escape from group activities. Can anyone recommend a decent sports-y bar (one I can go to alone) near the university, possibly that won't be too overrun with people from…
Jesus Christ, I hate stupid people.
For starters, the U.S. Constitution requires the Government compensate the private entities fairly. That's a staggering cost.
"With primarily passenger services, the Northeast Corridor is a cooperative venture between Amtrak and various state agencies. Amtrak owns the track between Washington and New Rochelle, New York, a northern suburb of New York City.
The train ticket costs almost as much as a plane ticket, but takes nearly as long as driving. I think that is the issue with rail travel. Short of being able to wander around the train, there are no advantages. If the speed of transit is increased, and cost lowered it becomes a much nicer option.
This is where the need for higher speed trains comes in.
The Jersey Central used to run frequent, fast service between Jersey City and A.C., but once the highways were built, they couldn't compete
I think Amtrak has hurt a lot of the credibility of rail travel.
So sorry, but the idea that investing in new high-speed rail tech is a BAD thing is something that pisses me off. Maybe the LA-LV link is a bunch of stupid pork, but that doesn't mean that the technology is stupid and shouldn't be pursued, which is what Hayseed Jindal was saying.
My guess is another Acela; which if put on a modern rail system is capable of fairly high speeds.
My point was just the fact that he used Las Vegas and Disneyland to disparage an idea for clean transportation.
A train from Las Vegas to Disneyland? Those crazy liburals.
Well I think we just want to view Canada as our backyard- big and spacious with an in-ground pool and full of Montreal whores.
Yeah, I'm thinking I'm going to like being in English classes where I can buy a bunch of cheap paperbacks.
I'll say this about the basketball season: for the first time I can ever remember, it's actually a realistic, possible outcome that Columbia will make it to the tournament this year. Not too likely, but if we have a couple good weeks, and Cornell has a couple bad weeks, and Yale and Dartmouth have a couple mediocre…
