That is the same reason I don't have any kids.

Kotaku was founded as and continues to report/blog/twitlonger on general nerd culture, with a slightly higher spin towards video games and japanese (anime et al) media and news.

Thank you for not making this a slideshow - and on an unrelated side note (well, brought on by the reminder from the phrasing), happy Thanksgiving Kotaku.

I don’t know how sponsorship money at the F1/MotoGP/IndyCar/NASCAR/WSBK level is paid. It seems that it is not paid upfront but in installments. That would seem to offer the sponsor protection in case the team itself goes tits up. Rare, but it does happen and I imagine primary sponsors would otherwise be out huge sums

I just don’t understand how anybody can seriously believe in crypto currency and NFTs as viable investments. And any team (in any sport) taking a crypto currency exchange sponsorship money?

Cloth rustle, for example, is tricky to edit and leads to more ADR

I was thinkin Cartoon Network X’D

Unless it’s Les Claypool.

Apologies if there’s a Disney+ reason for this(because I am not caught up with the Star Wars shows), but is it not spelled Darth Vader, with an E?

This comment has not had the credit it deserves.

Here’s an interesting one to throw at these GQP types.

This show was a huge favorite among my friends and I back in the 5th grade.

I think it was Jacky Steward that really pushed for these things. On a lot of race tracks back when, if you slide off road, you slide REALLY off road and going into the trees at speed is a bad thing even today, but back then was pretty much instant death.

Yes, Armco barriers are really a thing. You know the steel guard rail on posts on the highway? That’s an Armco barrier. On a track they’re usually stacked to make a more significant barrier, though it’s a somewhat dated one that doesn’t usually appear on FIA Grade 1 tracks because there are better options.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can’t just scroll past an article they have no interest in. Instead, they click on it and post a comment. It’s like walking down the street and seeing a guy with an “I’ll punch you in the throat if you want” sign and instead of saying no thanks and walking by, they get punched in

Also the bot makes mistakes with grammer and sentence construction in the convo, literally in the sentence about being turned off. A sentient being would not make that mistake.”

This part was pretty funny.

It is a dark blue grey, might have a tinge of green, but basically blue grey.  Jeep offered a similar color called “Anvil” on some of their models. The Jeep one may have has more green in it.

It’s exactly the same search. I’m on Win 11 and I’m still in the habit of tapping the Start Key and typing what I need to launch.
